Bobbie Jean (Coker) Adams, 79, Lagro, passed away at on June 26 at 9:45 p.m. in the Wabash County Hospital.
Bobbie was born on Nov. 19, 1933 to Acie and Beatrice (Cannaday) Coker in Lauderdale, Ala. She married Charles N. Adams on Nov. 26, 1949, who passed away on Oct. 17, 1994.
She worked for Wagner Corp of Wabash and had worked for Arby’s of Wabash for 12 years. She was a member of Abundant Life Tabernacle.
Bobbie is survived by two sons, Randy Adams (Kathy), Noblesville, Jackie Adams (Nancy), Salem; a brother, Jerry Coker (Shelia), Green Hill, Ala.; six grandchildren; six great grandchildren and one great great grandchild. She was preceded in death by two sons, Jeffrey and Charles “Dwight” Adams; a daughter, Charlene Adams; three brothers and two sisters.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. on June 29 at McDonald Funeral Home, 231 Falls Ave., Wabash, with Pastor Mike Jones and Tony Adams officiating. Burial will follow in the Lagro Cemetery.
Visitation for family and friends will be from 4-8 p.m. on June 28 at the funeral home.
