Una Bella Pizza Napoletana brings authentic Italian taste to Wabash

Larry Salyers, a Wabash resident for many years, recently opened the doors to his new pizza business, Una Bella Pizza Napoletana, 1710 S. Wabash St. According to Salyers, his restaurant replicates an authentic Italian taste and feel, unlike some of the larger-scaled chain restaurants most American have become accustomed to.

Rotary Youth Leadership Award camp announced

The Wabash Rotary Club is searching for candidates to attend its 27th annual Rotary Youth Leadership Award (RYLA) camp. Again this year it will be at Camp Tecumseh YMCA Outdoor Center, Brookston, Indiana. This year’s camp will be April 19-21.

Treasured Dreams Cottage to close after 11 years

Treasure Dreams Cottage, Country Gifts and Home Décor opened in June 2001 as a newcomer in the Wabash area retail-shopping scene. 12 years later, the owners, Jeremy and Dawn Wayman, have decided to close the popular shopping destination.

Over 300 court approved special advocates attend CASA Day at the capitol

Court Appointed Special Advocate volunteers from al over Indiana attended CASA Day on March 4, at the Indiana Statehouse. Every day, these volunteers are the voice for abused and neglected children in the juvenile court system and they were their voice at the Statehouse.
